The Club came together for a 7 rink Ladies v Men thriller! The games were interrupted by bouts of laughter, yelling at the bowls when they misbehaved and the shaking of the charity sin tins (for any behaviour deemed to be worthy of a fine!). Unfortunately the men won the battle with a top rink of Clive Bryceson, Tim Luscombe and Tony Bell.
Following the game everyone sat down to a great meal provided by the Royal Oak and then a raffle. The crowning glory was a frenzied auction of a beautiful painting of the Club, painted by our very talented President Linda Wallis and kindly donated by Barrie Tatman.
All monies raised will go to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
