The 18th August President’s Day brought sunshine, breeze and folks under the seas! Linda Wallis, Club President chose Swanage Pier for her charity this season and the President’s Day became a fancy dress ‘under the pier’ theme. So many people put great effort into their costumes, perhaps a few forgetting that they would also have to bowl in them! A game including swapping positions every 4 ends, followed by an amazing BBQ provided by Pantastic, speeches and raffle, culminated in entertainment from Shaun Knight. Much dancing, drinking (sensibly!) and merriment finished off a fantastic day for the Club and Swanage Pier.
